Please join local art teachers Christie O’Brien of Brooklyn Sandbox Early Learning Center and Hannah Kasper Levinson of the Hootenanny Art Annex for a workshop all about providing art experiences for your children at home! This workshop covers everything including basic art materials and projects, process vs. product, preparing a space for art making, how to talk to your children about their art, and how to store materials and finished work! Wine and snacks are included and there will be plenty of time for open discussion and experimenting with art materials. We will provide everyone with an original manual “Making Art With Your Children at Home” and will discuss ways to build upon our suggestions.
